FREE/REDUCED–PRICE MEALS AND OTHER BENEFIT APPLICATION
The applications are available at the school office, administration office and at the bookstores. Applications are also downloadable at http://www.flcs.k12.in.us/downloads/forms/Free-Reduced.pdf.
Frankton-Lapel will conduct “Direct Certification” in early July for those households who receive Food Stamps or TANF benefits. Those households directly certified for free meals and free textbooks, will be notified by mail in mid-July, and will not need to complete an application this school year. If you receive the Food Stamp or TANF benefits, but did not receive a direct certification letter in July, please submit an application to the school.
LUNCHBOX MEAL ACCOUNT
The LunchBox software is a PREPAY program and not a billing program.
If your household has not qualified for free meal benefits, you must prepay money into your child’s account or send money daily with your child. A low balance notification will be sent home regularly, to the parents of Elementary students, as a reminder to send money for their child’s meals.
To register to view your child's account balance in LunchBox, click on the “On-line Payments” link at www.frankton-lapel.org .
Online payment options are also available. This software is called e~Funds for Schools. This software allows you to prepay for your child’s purchases using your credit card, debit card or checking account. To register to make payment through e~Funds , click on the"On-line Payments" link at www.frankton-lapel.org.

Please note: You MUST register into two separate accounts in order to view meal account balance information and to pay for student lunch accounts online. Lunchbox is the balance tool; e~Funds is the payment processing software.
Another payment option is to prepay money to the school cafeteria (we suggest that you send a check so that you have a record of payment). It is very helpful if you include, on the envelope, your child’s name, the amount of the payment and if the payment is for more than one child, list how much should go to each child’s account.
