School Safety

In keeping with its commitment to provide a safe school environment, Frankton-Lapel Community Schools has created an administrative position to address safety and security issues.
The director will manage the formulation of policy, and oversee the day-to-day operation of each school. In addition, FLCS has added a full-time security officer that will be visible in the schools. Part-time security officers will also be utilized as needed.

Upon arrival, all visitors and guests are required to sign-in at each school, and wear a visitor's badge while in the building.

All Frankton-Lapel schools currently have in place emergency plans that cover a wide variety of situations. These situations include fire, earthquakes, bomb threats and severe weather.
Frankton-Lapel Community Schools is dedicated to taking a proactive course of action in helping to ensure that our schools remain safe and secure places of learning for all of its students and staff.
