Goals for 2007-2008
- All instruction will be differentiated to meet the needs of all students.
- Develop a Response to Intervention Plan for academic and behavioral interventions for each building and the corporation in collaboration with administrative and teaching staff.
- Continue to provide additional and direct instruction to all students not passing ISTEP, End of Course Assessments, and to those students who are more than 1 year behind in reading or mathematics.
- Minimum standard 60 minutes per week in reading
- Minimum standard 30 minutes per week in mathematics
- Continue to develop “bullying prevention” strategies for all students. Continue character education curriculum for students and staff in grades K-8.
- Construct and implement a 2009 budget for FLCS that continues to ensure the financial stability of the school district.
- Reading ISTEP scores will increase a minimum of 1.5% district wide during the 2008-09 school year.
- Mathematics ISTEP scores will increase a minimum of 1% district wide during the 2008-09 school year.
- Special education ISTEP scores will increase a minimum of 2% district wide during the 2008-09 school year.
