The IDOE is allowing school districts to add additional time to their school calendars to make up for closure days due to severe weather. Each 6 hours added to instructional time makes up for 1 missed school day. For this reason, FLCS is canceling all 45-minute early release days and adding 15 minutes to the end of each school day for the remainder of the 2013-14 school year. FLCS will also be in session Feb 17 and May 28. This goes into effect immediately.
